Immersed tunnel solutions for soft soil conditions, large water depths, and extreme loads, developed for large immersed tunnel projects during the recent years
報告人介紹
Casper Paludan-Müller graduated as M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1982, and he obtained a Ph.D. from the same University in 1987. He joined COWI in 1999 where he now holds a position as Project Director in the department for Tunnels and Underground Structures. He has gained a comprehensive experience within design and management of large multidisciplinary construction projects carried out for Owners as well as Contractors, and he has dealt with immersed tunnel projects for more than 15 years. Major assignments involving immersed tunnels have included the Øresund Fixed Link project between Denmark and Sweden, the Busan Geoje link project in South Korea, the Limerick PPP project in Ireland, and most recently the Hong Kong - Zhuhai - Macao link, now under construction. He is representative of Denmark in ITA Working Group 11 Immersed and Submerged Tunnels.
